Step 2: Save your backup key
This is the only thing standing between you and your account. If you lose it, your wallet is unrecoverable. We never see it.
2a. Copy your backup key into somewhere you'll still have in a year: a password manager, a printed sheet in a safe, an air-gapped device. The key is hidden by default so a screen- sharing or shoulder-surfing onlooker can't read it; use Show only if you need to verify the value visually.
Step 3: Confirm you've saved it
The backup key is now hidden. Paste or type the full key from where you saved it (your password manager, printout, etc.), not from this tab.
Step 4: Finish signup
Type the full key above and tick the box to enable this.
